APPENDICES IN IVORY, VOL. 1
From the gentle thaw of spring to the joy and anxiety of your sister’s first child being born at just 26 weeks, this EP finds its inspiration in the day-to-day, in events big and small. There’s something so refreshing about writing for solo piano; there’s no complex instrumentation or fancy audio effects to fuss over. It’s like a distillation of music itself, pulling the focus back to its core elements—rhythm, flow, harmony. Since the piano is my go-to instrument for noodling and brainstorming, I have many, many piano pieces still in the pipeline. Expect a volume 2 to arrive within the next couple years.

The music-making process is at its best when you have no idea where the piece is headed. 😌
@Matiorasu @markiplier I get you, man. I thought Mark was above being toxic like this. There’s too much toxicity around this topic already. People seem to be incapable of having a civilized conversation about it anymore.
My EP Appendices in Ivory, Vol. 1 is now available in a single-video format. Sorry it took so long, I actually completely spaced on it due to streaming and other projects. 😅
I've decided to discontinue my music production streams, simply because streaming my process has done more harm than good. It became a distraction to interact with chat and know that everything I did was being viewed by someone. Still hope to see you over on Twitch!
Man, sometimes I use Pro Tools and just can't help but miss Logic Pro. 🫤
